Your Summer Ride: The 2018 McLaren 570GT

Driving behind the wheel of the 2018 McLaren 570GT will give even the most dedicated sport car enthusiasts a rush. Not disappointing, the 570GT will provide you with the ultimate sports car experience, perfect for a hot summer day drive or even a long cruise.

The McLaren was designed to be driven by not only car enthusiasts but casual admirers of luxury cars, too. The engine has three modes: normal, sport and track. As suspected, while in the normal mode, the car drives smooth and comfortable. Switch it into track and you’ll feel like a race car driver within seconds. Stepping inside the 570GT, the design is simple yet elegant with several design options to choose from.

What is under the hood is nothing short of impressive, the 570GT has the power to go from 0 to 60mph in just 2.8 seconds and as fast as 100mph in 6.1 seconds with its 3.8liter twin turbocharged V8 engine. Pushing out 562 horsepower and 443 pound-foot of torque, this vehicle is a monster in terms of power. While on open road the McLaren can hit 204mph, which is not recommended for the regular driver.

Ugo Colombo: Miami Real Estate Titan

In addition to owning THE COLLECTION, Ugo Colombo has been busy advancing his real estate development efforts throughout Miami. Recently, Ugo Colombo’s CMC Group, along with Valerio Morabito, bought the Bay Harbor Continental site. Though a decision has not been announced on what development to this coastal site will entail, it was previously approved for a seven-story upscale condominium tower by its former owner. Prior to this project, Ugo Colombo and Valerio Morabito worked to develop a building known as Beach House 8 in Mid-Beach. This condominium tower stands ten floors tall and was completed in 2014.

An exciting update on one of the CMC Group’s other projects is at the Miami’s Brickell Flatiron Residential Tower. The grandeur of this building is stunning, with 64 floors of elegance that will be one of the United States’ tallest residential towers. The collection of penthouses on floors 50 through 64 will provide residents a top-tier experience, from exquisite furniture, to lofty ceilings and unreal views–and there are still units available.

In addition to spectacular real estate development, it was recently announced that Ugo Colombo’s The Collection would be expanding their product offerings to include Land Rover, located nearby the original location in a deal negotiated by Ugo Colombo and CMC Group. Ugo Colombo remains a prominent figure in Miami through his impact on the Miami skyline over the years. With no end in sight, residents of Miami and Coral Gables look forward to seeing more of the luxurious side Ugo Colombo has been able to bring out of Miami.

Volcanic Porsche

The Porsche Macan can be found on the roadways and in the driveways of Porsche enthusiasts all over the country. This vehicle quickly became one of Porsche’s best-selling from the start. Now, the 2018 Porsche Macan is at THE COLLECTION. One of our favorite models, this particular crossover can be found in the sophisticated Volcano Grey Metallic finish–and slide blades painted Lava Black.

The engine is a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline 4 with 252 horsepower at 5,000-6,800RPM. Ugo Colombo, THE COLLECTION, and Destination Fashion

In 1985, Barth A. Green, M.D. and NFL Hall of Fame linebacker Nick Buoniconti helped found The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis after Nick’s son, Marc, sustained a spinal cord injury during a college football game. Today, The Miami Project is the world’s most comprehensive spinal cord injury (SCI) research center, and a designated Center of Excellence at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.

The Miami Project held a pre-event on November 12^th for the upcoming Destination Fashion.

Destination Fashion honors women of substance and style—ladies who have gone above and beyond to help their communities, not only by raising money for The Miami Project, but whatever their cause may be. Destination Fashion is a star-studded event overseen by the dynamic duo, Stephanie Sayfie Aagaard and Suzy Sayfie.

The “Bond” Inspired Aston Martin Vantage

Aston Martin has recently confirmed that the design of the DB10 sports car (used exclusively for the latest James Bond film, Spectre) will inspire the next-generation Aston Martin Vantage.

Consequently, the new Aston Martin Vantage will share more similarities with the DB10 than the company’s latest new sports car, the DB11, will. With that being said, the company’s chief executive Andy Palmer said that styling cues from the DB10 will be visible throughout the British automaker’s next-generation range of vehicles.

“You’ll see the DNA for sure. It’s not the same—the DB10 was done exclusively for Bond. But you will see that ‘predator’ type look going forwards. The best way I can express it is that my mother will be able to tell the difference.”

Details about the next-generation Vantage remain undisclosed, but many believe there’s a good chance it will feature a turbocharged engine.

Miracle Jeans Day has raised more than $4 million to help fund life-saving medical needs in Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals since its’ conception.

One in 10 kids in North America is treated at a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital each year. Every single day, nearly 16,000 children visit the emergency rooms of their 170 member hospitals. Wearing jeans may lead to a more comfortable day in the office for you, but on Miracle Jeans Day it also generates hope for families relying on the services of a CMN Hospital.

Ugo Colombo and The Collection Welcomes the 2015 Alfa Romeo 4C

THE COLLECTION proudly welcomes Alfa Romeo and the all-new 2015 4C. The Alfa Romeo 4C is an Italian two-seat sports car, and it features a hand-crafted carbon fiber monocoque chassis weighing only 143 pounds. Sporting a 1.7-litre 4-cyclinder engine, the 4C boasts 237 horsepower and can travel from 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds. The starting price is $68.000 for the “launch edition,” which is limited to 500 total units.
