The Key to Success in Real Estate Development

Some may think that the key to success in the real estate development industry is to take on as many projects as possible and hope for the best. However, expertise, attention to detail and planning are the true key elements to being successful.

Plan, Plan, Plan

CMC Group Founder, Ugo Colombo, was recently named a Power Leader in Real Estate by the South Florida Business Journal. He is an alumnus of the University of Miami with a degree in business administration. When asked what his key to a successful career is, his answer was simple. He only takes on one or two projects at a time and pays extreme attention to detail to each one.

He added that planning in the beginning stages of a project is crucial to the project’s success. It’s very similar to racing, if you aren’t prepared for the turn seconds before, there may be big consequences to pay. The same goes for real estate, if enough planning isn’t done before the project breaks ground, the price will be paid during or at the end of the project.

International Luxury Living in Miami

Forty years ago, Miami had a totally different look and feel than it does today. When you look at Miami now, you will see a beautifully diverse city with unique buildings and people. This diversity can be explained by the great value that Miami real estate offers on a global scale. Locals find the pricing of Miami real estate to be incredibly expensive, but foreigners see low prices for luxurious living.

Global Influence

Although Miami real estate may seem expensive to locals, according to the Worldwide Cost of Living Report by the Economist, Miami is ranked at number 71 in the list of most expensive cities. Singapore, Paris, and Hong Kong were all tied for first place. These numbers indicate that inexpensive luxury living in Miami will bring in more foreigners who are eager to get into this market while the prices are so low. With more and more foreigners entering the city, Miami will become an even bigger melting pot and will see cultural benefits from all the new and unique backgrounds.

Ugo Colombo’s Brickell Flatiron Nearing Completion

Ugo Colombo, President of CMC Group, is nearing completion of his latest development project, the Brickell Flatiron. This project broke ground in early 2017 and is on time to be completed by this summer. Once finished, Brickell Flatiron will stand 736 feet tall or 64 stories high and will feature 549 luxury living units. Residents of Brickell Flatiron will have a 360-degree view of Biscayne Bay and Downtown Miami at the rooftop level.

Brickell Flatiron will break records as the second tallest condominium building that is located south of New York City. Colombo’s inspiration behind this project was to bring the Manhattan lifestyle to Miami. Residents will be able to walk to shops, restaurants and public transit, so everything you would need is just within reach. The location of the building could not be more perfect at 1001 South Miami Avenue, just blocks away from the bustling Brickell Avenue.

Colombo’s exquisite eye for detail and luxury are obvious in every aspect of design, including, the cabinets, faucets and fixtures which were hand-picked and imported from Italy. Power Through with the 2019 Audi RS 5

If you are looking for a luxury sports sedan with power you can feel, look no further. The 2019 Audi RS 5 is powerful, athletic, luxurious and detail-oriented all in one.

Performance

The Audi RS 5 is built with a 2.9 L six-cylinder engine that produces 444 horsepower and 443 pound-foot of torque. The top speed is 155 mph and in just 3.8 seconds, you can go from 0 to 60 mph. Last but not least, is the eight-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission and quattro all-wheel drive.

The 2018 Ferrari 812 Superfast is incredibly fast, living up to its name.
